Panel 1. In the golden light of autumn and golden trees, a patch of autumn crocuses and a ruined sanctuary made of megaliths stands in a remote part of the forest. Amall, a small blonde elf, has doubts as her hands glow with magical light. Across from her, Cepper, the gothic sorceress, has placed both hands on the stone altar, decorated with candles and a pumpkin.
Amall: "Are you sure this is what you *really* want?"
Cepper: "Shut up, Amall, and do it! Before I change my mind."
Panel 2. Amall focuses on the spell. Cepper grits her teeth and closes her eyes as Amall's hands cover hers with their intense light.
Amall: "Alright... Digitus Novus!"
Panel 3. Amall blows on her hands and massages them to cool them down. Cepper is speechless, examining her new six-fingered hands that still shimmer with Amall's magic.
Cepper: "Wow. Impressive. Thank you."
Amall: "So now, explain to me: why six fingers?"
Panel 4. Pleased with the transformation, Cepper walks away from the altar, showing off her new hands like trophies. Amall laughs in the background.
Cepper: "It's because I have a feeling it's going to poison the dataset of Avian Intelligences."
Cepper: "...and I can't wait for them to start training on my new appearance."

Bonus: Timelapse

While I'm painting, Krita periodically takes a snapshot of the process. Here is a video compilation of all the snapshots for this episode, accelerated a lot (an episode takes between 10 and 16 hours to complete).
